There are gyms, and there are also martial arts clubs, just not at the school itself. There are very, very few martial arts clubs, but they do exist in some of the major cities.

Shifa does not even own its own private ground for its sports, let alone a gym and a karate-club.

there's a court near Shifa, and also an indoor court about 15 minutes away from it.

I remember there used to be one in a big park but the took down the rims when I went to play last summer.

Where is the indoor one at? Islamabad Sports Complex?

There's a basketball court and tennis court across the street from Shifa now which are both pretty decent (rims included). The indoor one is at the Baharia University in Islamabad.
