Hello guys, i have just given my Final professional examination from KEMU, i am waiting for my result.

I wanted to ask that will i be able to apply for house job in Rawalpindi medical college or Quaid-e-Azam medical college in Bahawalpur? If i get late due to my exam result and the miss the last date...?

one can apply to any teaching hosiptal for house job....but all that matters is the merit i.e evaluation based on all your prof. results from 1st yr to final year.and yah,the imp thing is that by the time your result is announced and if that coincides with the results of final year in UHS affiliated colleges,then it aint a big deal to get house job there and there are bright chances to get a house job in a field you wish to work.but if your result comes out late,then you cant say its totally Impossible to get house job there....bcz some of the seats are left un-filled usually or some house officers may quit it,so you can go for those seats as well...but its not so easy a thing and also it may be like you have to work in the ward which doesnt match the field you like to go in.
anyways,just do pray that your results co-incide with the UHs affiliated colleges...then u can go for the house job anywhere u wish to!

well you can get house job in any medical kollege you want. but the big task is that you will remain unpaid if u go for house job in any other kollege coz they prefer their own students. i want to quote an example our senior topper of whole five years wanted to get house job in lahore but they refused saying that first we will fill all our graduates than u will get the chance. ya u can go anywhere but u will remain unpaid.

yup.the best thing is to find a spot in the same college where u have studied and KEMC, dats one of the top most colleges,so better stick to it for house job as well!

did that really happen?? pretyy strange ....as far i knew, its diffcult to find a paid seat in some other college but if that happend with the topper, how can others think of getting a paid seat. so the best thing is to find a spot in your college.i heard AKU offers house job seats without such discrimination.may be lil' truth in that too....

.ya thats really happened. but they get paid seats after 2 or 3 months later first they fill the seats by their own satudents than if their any vacancy they can give u the paid seat.
