this question might be off topic...
Yeah, it was off topic and has therefore been moved to a new thread. We like to keep the threads on topic so that other members don't have to go through pages of unrelated stuff when they're looking for answers to specific questions. Thanks.

orientations..........havent herd that word in a while................

i dont think so too be honest
Govt orientations consist of a stall from the college book shop on the college lawn, maybe if your lucky a few drinks, and then a few teachers giving speeches in the auditorium about how great your college is. After that your on your own.
hahaaa...not to be rude or anything does that word in exist in PAkistan..i mean seriously

You tour the campus and the hospital.

They will take you in the anatomy lecture hall, and have a short q&a. Over here is where they also ask if there are any foreign students in the class.

You take your group glass photo ( i missed mine because i was still in the states).

They have ice-breaker events which allows you to get to know your class mates.

Since KE does not have a college book shop, the local book shops come and hand out pamphlets with a book list for first year.

If lucky the VC give a small intro speech.

Other than that, this is pretty much it at KE.

the seniors usually stand at a short distance and stalk out their prey for "fooling/initiation" and usually grab them aside and start making them do funny things.

I hear at Aga Khan they throw you into those water fountains!
how do you deal with them?

Why they wana know whether u are a foreigner...so that they can prepare tactics against you?
yes i guess...
At KE there are alot of foreign students, so they generally ask where they all come from.
Countries include: Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Syria, Nepal, UK, USA, Somalia, and other African and Middle Eastern Nations, but not so much European.

So they ask just to get a idea where they are from.

nothing to be worried about at all.
KE = Kind Edward Medical College?
KE = Kind Edward Medical College?
KE = KEMC = KEMU = King Edward Medical College or King Edward Medical University -- all refer to the same place
