Hi! Guys....ok so i heard and know how to apply if you are an American citizen but havent read anything so far about Candidans...is the process similar to USA...how much precentage to the Pakistan Med Coucil deduct from your average if your from Canada..i knw that 20% is deducted if you are from America..and when would you start applying if you are going to graduate from highschool (gr.12) in 2008 i heard it takes almost a year before you get in..please let me know...thanks...and also my friend just came from Pakistan she said that its really bad and that alot of people are becoming doctors overther...and because of that they dont find good jobs in Pakistan....is that true...please let me know...thanks! :happy:

The procedure for applying to pak med school is same for canadian students as for american students. The IBCC deducts 10% off you high shcool average for canadian students. I have been through the entire process last year. For 2007 /08 term, the deadline for the application has already passed for private colleges but not sure for the government sector. Life in big cites is not bad at all. There are alot of fun activites to do. Its true that there are alot of med students here but you can easily get a job because not many doctors remain here.
