i was just wondering that if i go to pakistan this summer for med school ....and if i don't get in a med school and come back to the states and then go to community college for an year...will my high school grades count then or just the SAT II and the community college grades for one year??...i was just wondering that how long do i have to go to a college to reapply?#laugh

Your high school grades count. If you are missing a class in high school (i.e. physics) and then take it at a community college, you can show both transcripts and they will usually allow your college class to make up for you not taking it in high school.
But you cannot submit your college transcript as a substitute for your high school transcript. If your high school grades were low, your equivalence score will be low.

If you want to apply to Government schools then the following won't really matter, but if you're thinking about Shifa or Private medical colleges in Pakistan, then read on:
If you take SAT II's then you don't need to take the Entrance Exam. Score 700 or better on the SAT II's and you'll significantly increase your chances of admission.
Taking the entrance test will be a lot harder. So far only one foreigner has ever passed the Shifa Entrance exam, and I don't know about the AKU one. The low equivalence score will do you more harm for government schools than it will for Private colleges.

I would personally suggest that you should at least try to get in, because you have all your requirements fulfilled...Then, if you dont, come back to the states and go to a community college. Its all about your luck with the IBCC, and your performance on the entrance test/SATII's

so even if u take bio chem and physics in college they wont look at those grades at all?
