Taking The SAT II Test In Pakistan

    hey!!

i'm considering taking the august 29 SAT II in Pakistan. I wanted to ask if the environment/process was any different from American SAT II tests?...(yes i understand the test itself won't be much different i'm asking about the testing environment, the whole situation there, etc.)

if someone who's taken it there in the past could share their experience, i would really appreciate it! (:

While I have not given the test in the states and can't really draw a comparison, you should be assured that no cheating etc takes place. We weren't even allowed to talk during breaks and sat v far apart from each other (even further than how we sit in our CIEs). The administration was pretty strict. However, it does depend on your test centre too. Which city and test centre have you registered for? If your test centre is in Lahore, I can ask one of my friends for a review if any one them have given the test at that particular centre.

thank you!! wow that is strict...lol i took my first two tests in the states and this one student started to have a peanut allergic reaction from a granola bar she had for breakfast and my proctor started running around screaming for someone to come help - lol yeah it was overall pretty chill there aside from that, especially compared to what you're telling me. I'm thinking of taking it somewhere in Islamabad if i do decide to take it in Pakistan...

Beware that some centers aren't upto the mark and you might encounter issues like a clock/timer not being in your sight so ask students from Islamabad before you register!! Such incidents are very rare but don't take a risk
